Patch of hair loss on a clean scalp  approximate size (diameter):

Reason for visit:
Alopecia areata

Management:
 topical steroid cream as prescribed

Advised that if this does not work the following treatments could be considered:

- Topical irritants
- intralesional steroids
- topical minoxidil
- topical immunotherapy with DNCB antigen
