Antidepressant Script Repeat Request

Patient presents for repeat prescription of the antidepressant
Patient remained stable on the medication as prescribed
Patient stated that mood is well controlled and they have no desire to try and wean down or cease the medication

Brief mental state examination

The patient is dressed normally and display no obvious psychiatric disorder
The patient has a normal affect
GCS 15

Management

1. Medication to continue as prescribed
2. Patient to return immediately should they feel their mood is worsening and they need medical help
3. Advised to call QAS if acutely suicidal or they feel they may harm someone else
